DEAD GOOD is a non-profit death education company based in Sunderland, and is run by sisters Katy Vigurs and Lindsey Vigurs. As DEAD GOOD, we work as both socially engaged artists and imaginative community death educators, exploring and gently challenging both public and hidden narratives of death, dying and grief.

Dr Katy Vigurs is an academic by background, an award-winning university educator and social researcher, with expertise in social justice and creative approaches to research & public engagement. Lindsey Vigurs has spent most of her life working as an artist and commercial illustrator.
Together, our work aims to end taboos and increase choice and creativity around all things death and dying. To this end we offer a range of creative, ecologically responsible encounters around mortality, ritual, grief, legacy, and remembrance.
